Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ImageToSTL.online (the "Service"), operated by ImageToSTL.online ("we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service converts 2D images into 3D printable STL files. It has two parts:

• Free converter — Photo Relief, Logo Extrude, Lithophane, and Keychain modes run entirely in your browser, free of charge, with no account required.
• AI 3D mode (paid) — an optional feature that generates a full 3D model from a photo using a third-party AI provider. It requires a Google sign-in and either prepaid credits or an active subscription.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to honour purchases already made (see our Refund Policy).

3. Accounts

You can create an account by signing in with Google. You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payments, credits, and subscriptions

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout in USD and may change; changes never apply retroactively to credits you already bought.
• Credit packs are one-time purchases. One credit is consumed per successful AI generation. If a generation fails on our side, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Credits and subscriptions are personal to your account and non-transferable.

Refunds are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your content and licenses

• You retain all rights to the images you use and the STL models you generate. We claim no ownership over them.
• You may use generated models for personal or commercial purposes, provided you have the necessary rights to the source image.
• For AI 3D mode, you grant us and our processing provider a limited license to process your image solely to generate your model.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload images you do not have the right to use, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or depicts abuse;
• Use the Service to create items that are illegal in your jurisdiction (e.g. weapons components where prohibited);
• Attempt to probe, overload, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the Service or circumvent usage limits and billing;
• Resell or provide the paid API-backed features to third parties as a service without our written consent.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service — including its code, design, text, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding, and do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. In particular:

• We do not guarantee that generated STL files are error-free, watertight in all cases, or suitable for any particular printer, material, or use.
• AI-generated models are probabilistic and may contain artifacts or inaccuracies.
• You are solely responsible for verifying models before printing and for the safe operation of your equipment.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $10.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of any third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected.
